Return and Refund Policy

How to Return or Exchange an Order

  1. Click here to go to our Online Return Portal
  2. Look up your order using the order number and zip code for the mailing address used.
  3. The next screen will display the order information and each item in your order.
  4. Please, select the quantity of each item to return and the reason for return.
  5. Click the Submit Request button. The next (and final) page will show your return status.
  6. If your product is returnable*, your return shipping will be automatically authorized, and a pre-paid shipping label will be available.
  7. Print the return label.
  8. Place the items you are returning in the same or similar package.
  9. Seal the package and tape the return label over the old shipping label on the outside of the box. 
  10. Take it to the nearest carrier location to be delivered.

 *MacAuthority is not responsible for personal data or items left in returned merchandise.
*If the product does not meet our return criteria, you will see a message stating ”This item is unable to be returned” and a shipping label will not be created. If your return does not meet the policy, please contact our support team here to discuss options: MacAuthority Support

Return & Exchange Periods

If you want to return or exchange your purchase, please know that the time period begins the day you receive your product and applies to new, clearance, open-box, refurbished and pre-owned products. This policy applies to purchases made directly via the MacAuthority.co website only.

For all other products, we only offer returns/replacement for items that arrive damaged, defective, not as advertised, or missing components. In the event that a product arrives damaged, defective, not as advertised, or missing components, please contact us here: MacAuthority Support.

Requirements & Restrictions

The following requirements and restrictions apply to all returns and refunds. Product(s) returned to MacAuthority that do not meet the following criteria will not be accepted and refunds and exchanges will not be processed.

  • Free returns are accepted within the US only. US customers may return items in new, unused condition within the correct time period.
  • Only returns and refunds submitted through our Online Return Portal will be accepted.
  • The time period begins the day you receive your product. 
  • To determine this date, we will use:
    • the date your package was marked as delivered, by the shipping carrier, for deliveries with a tracking number, or
    • 7-days after the date your package was shipped from one of our facilities.

  • Requests must be initiated via our return portal and packages accepted by the approved carrier, within the defined time-period, to be valid.
  • *All returned items must be in new condition, in their original unaltered box (including an intact UPC code) and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals, and accessories.
  •  If your purchase included free items, you must return all associated items for a full refund; the retail value of any free item(s) you keep will be deducted from your reimbursement total.
  • Electronic devices that allow for login or paring, including but not limited to computers, phones, and scooters, must:
    • Be un-paired and removed from any account or device;
    • Have “Find My Device” turned off;
    • All MDM and device management software removed;
    • Be logged out of any Apple account;
    • Be unlocked and require no password or security codes to access.

Restocking Fees

A restocking fee will be charged for on the following product returns.

New Computers, tablets, phones, cameras, headphones, electric bikes, electric scooters, electric vehicles, special-order products, drones, and electronic devices. 15%

*No restocking fee will be charged on items that arrive damaged, defective, not as advertised, or missing components. 

The retail value of any free items you keep will be deducted from your reimbursement total.

MacAuthority can only refund the original purchase price. Shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable.

Final Sale and Nonreturnable Items

All final sale merchandise cannot be returned. Other nonreturnable purchases include custom orders, personalized orders, non-subscription digital content, prepaid cards (including third-party gift cards and prepaid phone cards), vehicle replacement key fobs, memberships, completed services, opened SIM kits, opened consumable items including batteries, cleaning agents, cleaners, group buys, ink and 3D printer filament.

Product Damage

MacAuthority is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any merchandise bought from us. We are responsible for the monetary value of the merchandise only.

Defective items may be repaired, exchanged or refunded at our discretion for the same model or manufacturer's equivalent model.
